Important duo paintings from the collection of painter Maryse Casol, they were part of her first solo exhibition in Côte des Neiges in Montreal already 20 years ago, in the fall of 2004!

To join the Je Suis Une Fauve campaign for the Carrés Casol in 2009, Mickaël Casol, founder of CASOL and martial arts master, and his fiancée Noriko Emen, herself a Buddhist, wanted to capture the spirit of the warrior in an image. Created by Japanese artist Setsuko Fukuzawa, the lion is inspired by the armor of Alexander the Great's father, King Philip of Macedonia. If you watch carefully in Rome, you will also find water fountains with lion heads, a legacy of the Roman Empire, and Italian ancestors of the Casol family. The Lion : symbol of power, courage and respect.
2009: Launch of the Carré Casol "Je Suis Une Fauve" Campaign, with a fashion show/samba dance extravaganza, where Noriko Emen performed along famous Samba dancer Rose Santos, at the Time Supper Club in Montreal, Canada, with a short film and photoshoot.
To promote the new Casol silk scarves, Mickaël Casol and Noriko Emen, art dealers of Maryse Casol, went to the USA during the New York City art week in March 2008, to meet with buyers, to have interviews with the media, visited the Armory Show at Pier 94, the contemporary art sales at the Sotheby's, Christie's and Phillips de Pury auction houses, and attended art parties at night.
Mademoiselle can now be beautiful with her Casol square silk scarf, the perfect gift for the modern woman. Sold at your new online boutique on MaryseCasol.com, the scarves are made in Lyon, France, with international promotion in New York City, Monaco, Paris, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The scarves were exhibited in a temporary show at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts boutique in August, and shot in New York City by fashion stylist Paulina Kajankova. Thank you to your support, le Carré Casol has been bought worldwide, from Los Angeles to Tokyo.
August 2007 : Mickaël Casol goes with his friends for a weekend in a Range Rover to New York City to grow the business relationships with his American clients and be inspired by the city. He will go again in December to celebrate the French Tuesdays New Year's Eve party!
The 2007 voyages will shape the future of CASOL with the desire to build an international luxury company.
June 2007: Mickaël Casol and 16 other young officers of the Desjardins Financial Group, went to France to study the three leading financial cooperatives: Banque Populaire, Crédit Coopératif and Crédit Mutuel, where Mickaël Casol had the honour to meet great business leaders such as Alban D'Amours, CEO of Desjardins, Pascal Marchetti, Director at Banque Populaire, and Étienne Pflimlin, President of Crédit Mutuel.
After the business voyage with Desjardins in Paris and Strasbourg, Mickaël Casol went to the South of France in the small village of Baho to visit his grand-parents, and attend the wedding of his childhood friend Sabine Tène!
To raise funds for the HEC Montreal Foundation, Mickaël Casol is featured in the HEC Montreal 2007 calendar, part of 12 alumni with special talents, here shot in the library, by Belgium fashion photographer Christian d'Hoir, and organized by Noémie Monic, a French model, fashion executive, and also HEC Montreal graduate! The calendar was produced and sold to celebrate the 100 years of the HEC Montreal business school, where large corporations were invited to each sponsor a month of the year. Mickaël Casol was featured for his achievements in University, and for winning the Canadian Thai Boxing Championship in 2006! The press was also invited to a private event, and you can still see the photos of the calendar, exhibited at the Decelles Pavillon on the 5th Floor.
In May 2007, Mickaël Casol graduated in business administration from HEC Montreal!
2006 : Noriko and Mickael start dating each other. It has been 10 years since they first met as dancers on the Bouge de Là! TV Show in 1996.

2006 : Mickaël Casol became Canadian Thai Boxing Champion, and is featured in the official photo of Tristar Gym amongs other champions such as David Loiseau and Georges St-Pierre.
2005: Following his father's advice, Mickaël Casol has the honour to join the Board of Directors in April of la Caisse Desjardins de St-Laurent as an intern, thank you to Director Mr. Gilbert Demers. Le Mouvement Desjardins in 2005 is one of the leading financial institutions worldwide, with 5.3M members, 568 branches, Excédents (profits) of $1.1B and over $118B in assets.
In August 2004: the Maryse Casol gallery is founded, for you to enjoy the voyages and colourful paintings of French contemporary artist Maryse Casol, mother of Mickael Casol. While still in his first year of business school at HEC Montreal, Mickael Casol decided to organize an exhibition in Côte des Neiges, near the University. The exhibition was a success, with all the community being present at the event, including friends and family, but also top business executives, lawyers, doctors, athletes, professors and the National TV.
In October 2004, Mickaël Casol goes for the first time alone to Mexico on the Riviera Maya and discovers Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum and Chichen Itza!
In March 2004, Mickaël Casol goes to New York City with his friends from school.
Mickaël Casol begins in September 2003 the HEC Montreal Business University after finishing college in human sciences in May at the Cegep St-Laurent. That same year in the summer, he goes back in vacations to France and Greece to visit his friends in Paris, Athens, Santorini and Paros.
2002: Launch of the Gentlemen music album after 4 years of recording, and over $4,000,000 invested. Promotion in Canada with concerts at La Place des Arts, for the San Tropez Dance Company, at a Toronto Outdoor Festival, and in Greece, Spain, France and Italy as a media tour. The album was also distributed in South America with Codiscos Records. Part of the media tour in Greece, Mickael Casol modeled for 1 month in Athens with the modeling agency Action Management thank you to model friend Daniel Bernard, booker Maria Danai, and Dotte Klingström, owner of the agency. One of the highlights was being in the Playboy Magazine Greece - August 2002!

Mickael Casol, David Lopera and Jossef Hennessy all appear in the TV Show Big Wolf on Campus, by Peter Knight, Episode N'Sipid, first aired in the U.S. on January 6th, 2002 (ABC), then seen in over 100M homes around the world. To get the part, Gentlemen had auditioned in front of the producers their harmony version of the USA national anthem: "The Star-Spangled Banner".
2000: David Lopera, Mickaël Casol & Jossef Hennessy of the group Gentlemen are featured in the film The Whole Nine Yards starring Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry and Michael Clarke Duncan. Directed by Jonathan Lynn, produced by Morgan Creek Productions, Franchise Pictures, Rational Packaging, and Lansdown Films, and distributed by Warner Bros, the film made $106.4 millions at the box office. Mickaël Casol, with his group Gentlemen and some friends, drove 27 hours from Montreal all the way to Boca Raton in Florida, USA to stay at Yossi's family home. They then took a cruise from Miami to the Caribbean sea, with stops in the Cayman Islands, Jamaica and the Bahamas, to celebrate the new Millennium!

It was during this voyage that Maryse Casol made in less than 7 days with other industry professionals, more than 4,000 km by jeep in the Sahara desert.
1998: David Lopera, Jossef Hennessy & Mickaël Casol sign a record deal in Montreal, Canada with Evolution Records, by legendary music producer Antonio DiVerdis to form the group Gentlemen. The first song, "Sweet Lady", that was written by Gentlemen and Antonio DiVerdis, also features Portuguese rapper James Enrique!
1998: Mickaël Casol starts singing lessons with Mr. Armen Kesseian, masters degree in pop music and Doctorate in Jazz from the University of Moscow.

1998: Maryse Casol is director of sales in Canada with the Accor Hotels, French hospitality group, world class leaders in the travel industry. Her position included missions for the Sofitel luxury hotels.
1997: Mickael Casol is accepted at the Dawson College Professional Theatre Program.
1997: Mickael Casol start to work for Iegor Auctions, thank you to his music teacher, Mr. Laurent Berniard. Mickael, with the other "Commissionneurs" did everything from cleaning the floors, moving paintings and sculptures, preparing international mailings to promote the auctions, to helping during evening sales.

This scene was shot during 3 nights at Lionel Groulx metro in Montreal, Canada. Published in 1997, The film was directed by Michael Caton-Jones, produced by Mutual Film Company & Alphaville and distributed by Universal Pictures.
It was on the set of The Jackal that Mickaël Casol became friend with Daniel Bernard, who would succeed as an international model in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
February 1996: Mickaël Casol is a dancer at Bouge de Là when the Backstreet Boys came to Montreal.
Winter 1996: At the age of 15, Mickaël Casol, going by the artist name Casanova, with the help of DJ. Cruz, writes, produces and records his first 2 songs in Spanish/English: ""Mamasitas" and "Morena Linda"! Mickaël Casol performed the songs live with 2 rappers and 2 female dancers at the Teleritmo 3rd Anniversary Show thank you to producers Magaly Vargas & Domingo Baez. Mickaël Casol was interviewed by Maria Sanz, host at Teleritmo. The songs were sent to all major Record Companies, including Sony and BMG Records. Evolution Records was interested but it was only 2 years later that a recording deal would be signed with the group Gentlemen.
1996: Along with his brother Nicolas, Mickaël Casol wins his black belt 2nd dan in Shaolin Wing Chun Nam Anh Kung Fu. Their Grand Master Nam Anh, was also a lawyer with a masters degree in International Law from the University of Saigon, and a veteran of the VietNam War. Nicolas and Mickael Casol then started training in Thai Boxing with legendary Masters Peter Sisomphou & Say Moinsourath at Tristar Gym.
Mickaël Casol is featured with Melkon Sapsezian, his kung fu master, in the movie The Quest that came out in 1996, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, one of his martial arts heroes. The film makes $57M at the box office. Another star of this film by Universal Pictures is Roger Moore.
1995: Mickael Casol starts to work for Caraballo Discos, selling Latin Music and tickets to events in a small store in the Jean Talon neighbourhood. Looking at the posters of the artists on the wall such as DLG, Julio Iglesias and Marc Anthony made him think: "If they can do it, why not me?!".
1994: Studying at le College Français, Mickaël Casol becomes friend with Victor Gandasegui and Patricio Canales, two very talented martial artists. Mickaël learns spanish in school, and with Victor and Patricio.
In 1992, Maryse Casol was director of Utmar Tours, the number 1 agency in Canada for voyages to Morocco! In the photo on the right: Maryse Casol and Najat Alaoui in Montreal, product launch event at La Menara restaurant where 150 travel agents were invited with the aim of introducing Morocco to Canadians, with Royal Air Maroc and luxury hotels Salam belonging to the respected businessman Mr. Mohamed Belghmi.

Mickael Casol enrols in the air cadets after his father's suggestion. Mickael learned military discipline, including the walk, keeping the uniform clean, bootcamp physical training, air planes and leadership.
Mickael Casol starts doing films at the age of 12 with Elite Casting. The first movie he made was Brainscan (published in 1994), starring Edward Furlong (Terminator 2).

1989: The two brothers Mickael and Nicolas Casol, spend their summer holidays with their grand parents in the village of Baho in the South of France.
Croissants and lait au chocolat prepared by Mamie in the morning while watching Dragon Ball and Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque! Bicycle adventures with the friends all around the village and La Garigue! Sometimes even swimming pool chez Sabine. Back for a delicious lunch (Paella cooked outside, fresh salads from the garden, fruits directly from the trees...). 1h00pm, the beach at Le Canet, fishing with their Grand Father at Le Port Barcarès, Pain au chocolat Goûter at 4h00pm. Back to the house and dîner at 8h00pm (sometimes 10h00pm!). Then, party with the friends at Le Foyer du Village playing pétanque or other games until midnight, sometimes even 1h00am. It was warm, it was friendly, it was perfect.

1988: Mickael completes all ten levels of the Red Cross Swimming Program and begins diving board classes. The same summer, his father puts him in Tennis.

1985: In Libourne, France, Mickaël Casol achieves his first 1,000 metres at swimming at the olympic public pool.
Luc, the father of Mickael, puts his son in Judo, at the age of 4, at the Shidokan National Olympic School of Judo by master Hiroshi Nakamura in Canada. That same year, his father took Mickael to the cinema to see Star Wars VI - Return of the Jedi.
During the summer months at La Roche-Chalais pool in France, Mickael first learns swimming at the age of 4, thank you to his mother.
During the winter, Mickaël Casol first learns how to ski in Quebec thank you to his father Luc.
