At the heart of the evening, the keynote presentation was delivered by Claudia Longo, Head of Marketing & Strategy at Milano & Partners, the official agency behind YES Milano. Her presentation set the tone for the evening, offering a dynamic perspective on Milan as a global capital of art, innovation, lifestyle, and business tourism.
Bringing together representatives from Milan’s tourism and cultural institutions, the Italian Consulate in Montréal, and members of Montréal’s business community, the “YES Milano — Milano & Leonardo” event created an immersive dialogue centered on Milan’s global positioning.
Organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada and supported by the Italian Ministry of Tourism, the evening brought together key institutional and cultural stakeholders to strengthen the dialogue between Italy and Canada.
Guiding the presentations and guest introductions throughout the evening, Roxana Cirstea, Deputy Director General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada, ensured a fluid exchange between speakers and guests on stage.
Casol extends its appreciation to Inga Lavallée, Connie Russo, and Monika Biskup, along with the broader organizing team.
Representing the Italian Consulate in Montréal, Fortunato Mangiola and his team were present alongside Paul Caccia, Senior Director of Business Development and Communications at the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), highlighting the importance of hospitality, education, and cultural diplomacy.
From Milan, the delegation led by Claudia Longo shared insights into the city’s evolving identity and its positioning as a leading global destination for culture, design, and tourism. Among the Milan delegation, Casol also acknowledges Luciano Bersano of the Comune di Milano, and Francesca Tasso, Director of the Museum Area of Castello Sforzesco, who contributed to the presentation and discussions on Milan’s cultural heritage and international cultural strategy.
A beautifully curated evening celebrating the spirit of la dolce vita and the enduring cultural elegance of Italy!
